Blair Homestead
Commission Work 2022
Early in 2022, Margaret was commissioned to create a decorative metal screen to enclose Blair Homestead's hot water service so the surrounding gardens could be used again. Margaret took inspiration from the local elm trees surrounding the homestead as the motif for the overall design. After a delightful weekend in Bright, she returned home to create the screens which included a gate so that the service could be readily accessed. After several months Margaret returned to install the metal screens with the assistance of the owner which was greatly appreciated. Now that the service is screened, the gardens can again be enjoyed by all.
